Went again recently to watch 'The Band' (Musical) the show was great but importantly the venue is excellent. it is dripping in history character and charm as clean as a whistle fantastic venue
Saw the brilliant ' The Band' here on Saturday. I wanted to comment on the brilliant two members of staff behind the bar. They were literally rushed off their feet but managed to serve everyone promptly and efficiently. Thank you, Christine & Sarah
Cinderella wonderful performance from all the cast the two ugly sister's has so many costumes changes you kept wondering what are they coming out in next. Lots of laughter and a fun show. If you get a chance a must see in the grand theatre
Panto time. The pantomime was great fun and I highly recommend it (Cinderella). The theatre itself is lovely, staff are helpful, toilet area clean and tidy. It only loses a star because there is a serious lack of leg room in the seats in the grand circle. If you have long legs, choose an aisle seat so you have somewhere to put them!
It is so old fashioned, but in a heart-warming way. Inside looks like all original decor. All clean and tidy. The staff were all friendly and it's a very comfortable place. We had a while to wait, but could get refreshments while waiting. The show was performed to a high standard and the scenery was amazingly thought out, saving room. Lovely show.
