The price of tickets and food in this cinema is very good, as is the sound and picture quality. The staff are friendly and polite but oh my god are they slow at serving people. We were 3rd in a queue with 2 staff serving and it took 25 minutes before we were able to get to our seats, so long in fact that we missed the start of our film. There was a manager that kept flitting around and very slowly placing hot dogs on the hot plate and chatting with staff, rather than jumping on a till to serve waiting customers more quickly. The VIP seats were warn and ripped in places. Odeon is better.
2 adults 3 children. To watch ne Fantastic Beasts in December. Good online booking service. When arrived someone was sitting in the seats we booked. Lady complained they had tried to book aisle seat but couldn't and need to "stretch" her legs.... after to and fro with staff and us we moved as a group to internal seats as lady and family had no intention of moving. The seating was comfort BUT 2 of our seats had sweet sticky residue on. And this got all over my daughter's sleeves and jeans. Great picture quality and sound.The toilets stink. They appear clean but there is a very strong drain smell. Not a one off this has been going on for some time. Some of the staff are amazing but others " after our seat incident" are not.
This is me and my family's favourite cinema we always go here even though it is quite far away. They always have affordable tickets and food/snacks. They have good quality films and are very helpful!
Vue used to be really expensive, but they seem to have changed their business model in recent years so now it is really cheap to see the films. The food is well priced too compared to most cinemas, to the extent that the Vue is now my default cinema over Cineworld. The one in Swansea is well maintained, but you will have to pay for parking around the corner.
This venue is brilliant! It's really easy to buy tickets (and you can order online as well), the food is decently priced and the atmosphere is cheerful. Be warned, the queue can be rather large at times. I promise it's worth the wait, though!
