Nice place, the owner was very accommodating, nothing was too much trouble.

ANOTHER hidden gem in Swansea. although this is not a big place it is CRAMMED with so much history. I spent hours there it was amazing. there are items here that are simply not available anywhere else. local information clothing etc

What a wonderful place! Took my 88 year old mam there, watching the memories come flooding back for her was amazing, such an important place for Swansea history, wish it was given a bit more funding to help keep it going for future generations to learn what our senior citizens endured back then.

Don't let the outside put you off. There's a lot more inside than you think. The volunteers really know there stuff and are more than happy to talk to you.

Little gem of a museum in Swansea... was visiting from the states; shout out to Stateside Jacks and decide to check this place out. The content of exhibits and knowledge of the very friendly staff makes this a worth while stop IMHO. Great presentation of Swansea in World War 2. Saw the exhibit of POW Camp 198 Island Farm and the story of the great escape associated with said POW camp. The actual camp is east of the museum on the way to Cardiff just south of Bridgend (A48 bypass).Overall one can not leave without increasing ones knowledge of history in this area during WW2. Great job.
