We had fun in the Slug and Lettuce. The food was good value, we had a variety of curry, burgers, tapas and it was all tasty and we'll presented. It was early when we were there, so quite quiet. Might not be so good if crowded.
Very expensive for drinks. I had a pint of strong ow and a single southern comfort and lemonade for almost 10. Havent had food in here yet but if its the same prices as the drinks I doubt I will. Its very nicely themed though, and quite cozy if your at the back or in one of the bird cages Staff are friendly but do always seem busy when Ive been in there. Nice place to start a Saturday night out though
Can be very noisy with Hooray Henry's who feel the need to talk even louder than the rest although, I'm pleased to say, it wasn't at all like that in this visit. We spent a very pleasant hour. The staff were helpfull and the ambience and wine excellent.
Haven't been in here since it was Yates and pleasantly surprised. Monday offer of burger and drink was around 8 and was a really tasty meal. Definitely revisit
Very slow and poor service for a quiet Monday evening. Served warm Espresso Martini, when asked the bar man to shake over more ice to cool, he did but didn't even say a word. Another staff member stood behind the bar eating chips and on her phone. People need to eat and have breaks but do it out of the way of paying customers who feel like they are already having a poor and slow service.
