I don't normally like leaving bad reviews as I understand people make mistakes but given how Day's handled their mistake I felt I had to write this review as a warning.I booked a car over the phone with Days and when I turned up to collect the car they had not put it into their system, which is an honest mistake. But instead of apologising and trying to resolve the issue fairly I was told they had no cars left. When pushed they then found a car available but not at the price I was quoted and told me I would have to hire a more expensive car if I wanted a car that day. When I said that wasn't fair they told me I didn't have to book a car if I didn't want to. They had zero customer care and didn't care they had made a mistake. I would never use this firm again.

Booked van online, someone then is supposed to call to confirm, they didnt bother, went to collect van, was told that there wasnt one, woman was also rude, was no apology for not processing my booking either. Made out it was my fault too. Really not good when I needed to be on the motorway for a job. Phoned the next nearest rental at Penllergaer and luckily they had van available. Still not a good start for a 500 mile round trip. One star is too much in my opinion. Theres really no point in an online booking system if you cant actually book online. Staff need educating in customer service too. Also relevant is that they cant take cash?
