Been with this surgery for many years . I think it the best there is , always able to get an appointment. You only have to listen to other people complain about their surgery to realise how good Brunswick is
Just looked at the website today out of curiosity and was saddened to see the negative reviews. I have been with this surgery all of my life and I have nothing but praise for the care and support my family and I have received over the years. I think we are very lucky and privaliged to have had such an excellent service and I would like to thank all the Drs and staff.
I find the Doctors at the Brunswick Health Centre to be very friendly and professional. On occassion I have found some reception staff over the phone to be a little rude however apart from that the reception are usually lovely and appointments run on time.
I don't understand the negative reviews here, as they certainly don't reflect my experience of this surgery. I find the GPs at the St Helen's Rd surgery very caring, efficient and supportive. Likewise, I've found surgery staff very helpful, polite and efficient. Having previously been a patient at a surgery which failed to help me with a number of health issues, I have nothing but praise for Brunswick.
I couldn't give zero which I would have preferred. The whole atmosphere is unfriendly and unhelpful. The receptionists are poor and at times have been downright rude. Exceedingly unhelpful to any who make queries. The GP we saw was extremely unhelpful to a distressed mental health patient and had absolutely no idea of how to deal with the situation. Again, no interest in assisting in any way. It was a sad reflection of how some GPS react. On the whole I felt that the mentally ill were being discriminated against. A total disgrace all round. Carer.
