Ok but lady vet very rude. No customer service at all. Wanted to put my cat down there and then! I was upset & askedso many questions. Her response was"I just told you!" Extremely rude, no consideration for upset owners and no tact at all. When I got there, the euthanasia form was beside my cat with a pen on top of it what the hell???? Took my cat elsewhere & even though she had to be put to sleep, it was dealt with so much better. Lots of hugs from the vet, the needle was hidden so I couldn't see anything and she allowed me to hold her and talked to her then hugged me because I was devastated. Will never use Lakeside again!
I rang to today to change an appointment for my dog, I was told by the receptionist that I was blocked by the system and couldnt have a new appointment. I then asked to speak to a manager and spoke to a gentleman, he told me that I was blocked by the system and should find a new vet it was tough luck I shouldnt have missed two appointments. I couldnt phone this morning as my 7 month old baby was unwell and had to be rushed to the doctors. Is this really how a vet should speak to paying customers with a genuine reason for missing an appointment? Disgusting attitude from the man and I will not be returning, I was reprimanded like I was back in school. Unacceptable.
If there was a minus rating this practice would deserve it.I attended here last Wednesday morning but never again.From the waiting room I could hear a raised male voice from an adjoining room. The raised voice wasn't the only problem, I found the swearing disgusting and even more so when a young female member of staff opened the door and left the room.She appeared pale and distressed.I can't comment on the animal care at the practice, but if you scroll through the 1 star reviews you will see a pattern, bad manners, rudeness and that's from both reception staff and vet.In this day and age how is a man in what should be a respected position be allowed to speak to a young girl in that manner....He obviously has no self respect, no respect for women and made himself to be seen in a very bad way.. poor girl
Massive thanks to Andrew and the team at Lakeside Veterinary Surgery. Theyve taken great care of my fur baby for her op to remove a cyst today. Great service and 300 cheaper than my usual vets. Will definitely use again!!
Took our dog here as an emergency because our vets had no staff available, the vet we saw was very friendly, put us at ease straight away and explained things in a way we could understand. The aftercare is also excellent, we had a courtesy call the next day to check how Jessie was doing which was a nice touch.
