The River house would have had five stars but food was not available even though the menus were on the tables. We had spent ten minutes choosing what we wanted to eat to be told the kitchen was closed (it was a Monday) . Apart from that the cocktails were nice but to comply with the offer they both had to be the same. When we had walked past on the previous two days and looked in the food looked lovely. Maybe try again on another visit to Swansea.
Beautiful setting on the river. Plenty of seating inside and outside. Lunch was good with a variety of light meals. Staff were very nice and friendly. The sun shone for us so we sat outside
We were very impressed.We made a visit to get out of the rain....did not book.However they found us a table for Sunday lunch.The staff were lovely, impeccable service but with a friendly and caring touch.The food was well presented and delicious. We will go again.Thanks Team River House
