Lovely campsite in the middle of nowhere. Owners very friendly and helpful. Toilets and showers superb. Always clean no matter what time you go to them. Toilets were in a cubicle with a wash basin for privacy. Shower cubicles were huge with an area to get changed in. Piping hot water. Small shop. Cafe a bit on the pricey side. 3.50 for a bacon sandwich plus 2 for a drink. Better to go to pub in Mumbles for full English 3. Lovely walk through woods and sand dunes to beach. Owner said 10 minute walk, yes I agree if you are a crow and you can fly. Don't attempt if not good on your pins or with a pushchair. Magnificent Oxwich Bay beach at the end of an arduous walk over sand dunes. Coming back up the sand dunes and steep paths back to the campsite you need to be like a mountain goat to do it!!
Very friendly staff. Amazing facilities. Lovely food. Shop is not too pricey. Views are amazing. Thoroughly recommended.
Absolutely lovely place. The shower/toilet facilities are smashing, views beautiful & staff incredibly friendly & helpful. We would definitely stay here again - in fact we intend to! Wed thoroughly recommend Nicholaston to everyone. Thank you for a great stay.
Fab site. A short (10-15 min) walk to the lovely beach. Toilet and shower facilities excellent and sparkling clean all the time. Staff friendly and very helpful. Shop well stocked and cafe does a nice brekkie and fresh pastries too. One of the best campsites we've ever stayed on. Thanks to the team for a great stay, will definitely be back.
I have no idea how I posted previous review... It's 5 star all the way for us. Beautiful views, Clean site, showers are great. What's not to like.. It's an incredibly well run site, the staff are friendly even to the point of having a battery pack to jump-start our friends var.. Cheers Tom. It's been a great break and would definitely return
