This is a great campsite. Although it was a busy summer weekend it didn't feel overly crowded (except the pool, which was pretty crowded). Fairly spacious pitches. Clean facilities and a great location, super close (walkable) to a really nice beach.
We (normally around 15-20 of us) go every year. The staff are very friendly and the facilities are clean and tidy. They have two sets of toilets which they close one to clean and then reopen and repeat. Noise limit is at 11pm however we have never had too much noise after 9-10pm. Place in the office to charge your phones or laptops. From the campsite you can go on beautiful walks along cliffs. You also of course have a very nice beach with plenty of activities to do on the beach.
Had a lovely time here. The owners were very friendly and nice people and so sweet to my dog. The facilities were excellent very clean and in close distance to you. Beautiful views when you camp. The road leading to the camp site is so beautiful with all the very old cottages on the way, which have information about their history. Never used the heated pool, but it looked lovely and was being enjoyed by many families. The only thing that would have made it absolute perfection would have been if they had a sight shop. There is a shop near the beach, but it's best part of a 15 minute walk each way. So I'd say just make sure if you need to visit the shop that you make a list so you don't forget anything and have to make another trip
really accommodating owners, all clean and tidy and kids enjoyed the pool. would come back again. Great central point for coastal walks but if you ever need a taxi, check prices!!!
Nice staff, the facilities are adequate and clean, the swimming pool is very deep for non swimmers or small kids.The site is a short walk from the beach. The site is lacking electrical hook up for tents, though you can leave electric devices at reception to charge at your own risk. Many people did this and it seemed safe enough.
