We stayed Christmas Eve and day. The staff couldn't do enough for you, especially Chris the Manager. The food was beautiful. A very pleasant 2 days.
Room was freezing when I arrived and took me an hour to figure out how to turn the air conditioning on. The small wooden floored area outside the bathroom was sticky. Found out the next morning that it was due to glue from a protective covering used when new air conditioning was installed. And the corridor light wasn't working, so it was hard to find the slot for the key card. Apart from these minor problems, the room was very clean and adequate for one night. The staff were pleasant but didn't seem bothered about the floor issue and only apologised for the light situation. I can highly recommend the bar and brasserie on the ground floor.
I didn't know what to expect when I first entered the car park, it was just a bit tight and small. But once in the hotel wow really pleasantly surprised by everything. And the staff couldn't be more helpful. Because we had to leave early the next morning and missed breakfast, they prepared lunch boxes to take away for everyone in my party. The rooms are spacious and clean and warm. A real gem. Thank you
Surprisingly this is a 4 star rating hotel. Really needs up dating. Bedrooms small and bed is really uncomfortable. Over priced tariff for one night stay. Bar prices are absolutely ridiculous. 7.75 for large diet coke and a large lemonade with a dash of lime ! You expect to pay this when staying somewhere like the celtic manor. Which offers a more luxury stay. Staff are friendly but wont be returning as it is far over priced for the area and what the hotel offers.
Stayed here for one night and I was very happy with the room. Evening meal was sufficient. The breakfast service was a little slow but to a good standard.
