Really enjoyed our two night stay here at the village hotel. Although it was quite busy when we arrived Friday evening the whole team gave us a warm welcome and made us feel at home, albeit for a little noise on the Friday night with guests leaving the whole time spent there was quiet and relaxed.Village hotels are fast becoming my favourite place to stay.
A very good venue for a business event. Great meeting rooms. The classic room was also modern. Had the club sandwich in the bar, good bar food and reasonable price. The breakfast had plenty of choice and everything you would expect. The hub is lively with people coming and going to the gym, pool, coffee shop or bar.
I'm a fan of Village hotels. Good sized rooms and bathrooms, tastefully decorated, clean and well maintained. The room has air con, a huge TV and the bathroom has a steam free mirror.There's a good sized pool to have a proper swim in and a well equipped gym. Big car park, two restaurants and a Starbucks.The staff have all been very pleasant.My only gripe is that I could hear every footstep of the person in the room above. An unexpected disappointment.
Only stayed for one night B and B - spacious room ('Club'), well appointed with large comfortable bed, clean with good sized bathroom. Wide range of hot and cold dishes at breakfast. Helpful friendly staff. Ample free parking. Highly recommended.
