My wife and I were on our honeymoon and made the tragic mistake of renting beds for 8 days from here. When railroad strikes left us unable to get to the airport from which we were to fly to the island, we made multiple attempts to contact the owner to relay our plight. After being unable to reach them by phone despite the 20+ calls we made, we sent our friend who lives in Swansea over to Leonardos. Our friend found the son of the owner and explained our situation. He expressed sympathy for our ruined honeymoon and assured our friend that he would contact us for a refund or partial refund. The owner finally got in touch with us and said if she was able to rent the rooms out, she would give us a full refund, and if not, she would give a partial refund. From that point on, she refused to communicate with us. We didn't get a penny back from them, and as a result were left without funds to find lodging, leaving us to spend the remainder of our honeymoon sleeping in a train station. We understand the logic behind refusing to refund, but the owner's complete lack of empathy to even help us out a little is nothing short of bewildering.
Very nice stay and warm welcome. The rooms are a bit small but it's clean, you've got a nice bed, a bathroom and everything to make tea! Good continental breakfast included + you can park your car in the streets nearby
Friendly reception and very clean. Great choice for a quick pit stop. Room not big but only need a bed.
Very pleasant owners, good food if you opt for the breakfast. The downstairs is nicely decorated, the rest of the property just needs a bit of TLC. Poor soundproofing between rooms, we could hear the people in the next room having an argument and their baby crying most of the night. Some parking nearby but no dedicated parking.
Excellent family run B&B. Very clean crisp white bed sheets, towels provided. Bathroom etc all scrupulously clean. Last remaining room we had was a little on the small side but perfectly fine for sleeping. Well decorated seaside pictures and matching coasters to suit gave the room a nice homely feel. Our room had a sea view! All positive and would be happy to stay there again on our next visit.
