Damn straight this hotel is cheap and the staff should be in the Ritz! Nothing is too much trouble ! This place i stayed whilst seeing shy fx @ sin city which by the way cost about $50 + hotel and they put in a 45 min set to kick off there raggamuffin tour this place is cool as ! The staff are on the level got a telling off for accidentally smoking in the room had to be buzzed in through the main door there after ( 10pm onwardswhen went for a smoke but hey thats uk ) loves a Travelodge best of British right there !
I was on the top floor so had great views of Swansea however the fact that the church is practically opposite is a right pain when there is bells chiming every 15mins all through the night! Paid for breakfast but didn't get it because I was too hungover. All in all, its a travelodge, clean & tidy and cheap.
Very centrally located in Swansea. Not far from the shops. About 15 min walk to the railway station. Taxis can be called by the reception.
The staff did not seem to know that there is two different types of put-up beds under the kings size bed .... one with an adult mattress and one with a child mattress which as an adult you feel all the spring . We only found this out when we were leaving so spent an uncomfortable couple of nights. The noise from the street was bad into the Friday and Saturday night and it was too warm to close the window and as there was no air con
Great family room, spacious and tidy. The hotel was really close to shops and city centre. There was some lovely walks along the waters edge. Would definitely use again. Have to say the buffet style breakfast with kids go free was well worth it and set us up for the day.
